Pool Rules and Regulations
Health and Safety:
- All bathers must shower before entering the pool.
- Any person with an infectious or communicable disease shall not enter the pool area.
- Children wearing diapers or who are not toilet trained are never allowed in the main pool.
- Lifeguards are strictly "off-limits" to all bathers.
- All swimmers shall immediately exit the pool during electrical storms or other announced emergencies. The signal to exit the pool is three blasts of the lifeguard's whistle.
- An adult swim period shall be provided during the 15 minutes prior to the hour until 6 p.m. An adult is defined as a person of 18 years of age or older.
- Running and rough play on the pool deck or any actions which endanger the safety and comfort of pool users is prohibited.
Children's Use of the Facilities:
- Children under the age of 8 or who have not attained the height of 4' 6" shall be accompanied by an adult, except during group swim lessons and official swim team practice.
- Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult until they can swim the length of the pool and written permission from the parent is on file with the gate attendant stating the child is permitted to enter the pool area alone.
- Children under the age of 12 who are not accompanied by an adult are never permitted to remain in the pool area after 7 p.m.
Eating, Smoking, and Pets:
- Food and drink can never be consumed on the pool deck.
- Intoxicants are never permitted on Club property.
- Smoking is never permitted in the pool area.
Diving Well:
- General swimming is not permitted in the diving well when the boards are in use.
- Dive only after the previous diver has exited the diving well.
- Divers shall exit the pool by the most direct route immediately upon completion of a dive.
- One person on a board or ladder-to-a-board at a time.
- Children with "water wings" or other flotation aids are never permitted in the diving well.
Splash Pool:
- Children over the age of 6 are prohibited from using the splash pool.
- Children using the splash pool shall be continuously accompanied by an attendant of at least 13 years of age.
Pool Toys and Rafts:
- The use of rafts and all other inflatable devices, water guns, and other pool oriented toys are prohibited except at the discretion of the Pool Manager.
- No balls except those made from sponge material, may be used in the pool.
- No balls may be used in the pool during the 15 minute adult swim period.
- Use of balls may be prohibited entirely at the discretion of the Pool Manager due to crowded conditions, or other safety and comfort considerations.
